Genesis 1:1-2 1) In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.2) And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. KING JAMES BIBLE
Man has often looked to the heavens and wondered how all of this was created. He has reasoned and tried to explain how all of this came about. There is a theory that the world and the universe was created over a period of billions and billions of years and that by pure chance everything was created, bit by bit, piece by piece.
The odds of this happening are astronomical and almost utterly impossible. Yet here we are. We do exist amid all this amazing creation. But this creation is not in chaos, it is well ordered and the order is maintained. Again an improbability and perhaps an impossibility of all of this happening by chance. This would be like saying that a sculpture was created by chance with no artist to sculpt it.
The King James Bible tells us that God created the heaven and the earth. God took nothing and made a lump of clay and then from this lump of clay, He began to create His masterpiece.
There is a MIGHTY GOD who created the heaven and the earth. In John 1:1-3 of the Bible we are told, 1) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2) The same was in the beginning with God. 3) All things were made by Him and without Him was not any thing made that was made
Nothing would exist or could exist in this universe except for this MIGHTY GOD who created the universe. God set everything into motion and then He maintains His creation, looking after it
As you look around at all that is in the heavens and on the earth, think about the MIGHTY GOD who created all this. A God who loves you and created all this to put man into the center of all this and gave man dominion over the creature of the earth. A God who in return for your love and obedience will give you eternal life. A God who sent His Son into this world to give us that eternal life. John 3:16, For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
